My entire family has been patients of TO since we moved to Trumansburg. Dr. Neil, Karen, and Izzie are exactly what a hometown family owned business should be; friendly, knowledgeable, caring, experts in their field with up to date technology, and the added bonus of knowing everyone by name. Kind of like “Cheers,” Besides the typical professional care during routine eye exam visits, their “extras” (but perhaps not for them), put them in the “above and beyond” category. One of my sons wanted to wear contacts when playing hockey, Karen spent what seemed like hours teaching him how to put them in. I mean with patience, grace, calm, and humor. I’d like to know if anyone from the large chain eye practices would do that. Whenever we need a “fix” of some sort on glasses, whether we bought them there or not, they are willing to fix them, just walk in. They will help with a smile. I’m thankful they are open on Saturdays to accommodate the working folks who can’t get there during the work week. That’s one of the things an awesome practice will do; be accommodating as possible to the needs of their clients. Thanks Trumansburg Optical!
